ReflectionI chose this poem because some people believe some things aren't meant to be conquered, or can't be controlled. But they can, always have hope.
Good-bye, big puffy sweaters.
Good-bye, showering flakes. Good-bye, winter. Spring's ahead! Good-bye, hot chocolate. Good-bye, Christmas. Good-bye, winter. Spring, hello! Hello, green grasses. Hello, flower buds. Good-bye, winter. Spring's in sight! Hello, growing gardens. Hello, blooming flora. Good-bye, winter! Hello, spring! REFLECTION
I chose this piece because delight is a wonderful emotion, it almost feels rare.
Christmas
Presents, and trees litter the house the sweet aroma of honey baked turkey and cookies drift to your nose Carols and pleasant voices fill the air Memory filled, touching the hearts of those around you Christmas |
If Delight was a color,
It would be blue As an orchard and green as its leaves. If Delight was a taste It would be just like a faintly flavored lollipop. If Delight was a feeling It would be as unsettling as a shiver down your spine. If Delight was a smell It would be intoxicating as an endangered species. If Delight was a sound, It would be delightful as a giggle. REFLECTION
I chose this piece because I love Christmas, and all the decorations that are spread around the house during winter excites me for some reason.
